“ Not had a delivered Pizza in ages, not since the previously excellent Fireaway Westwickham stopped selling anchovies and capers as toppings. So tonight I tried Al Capone's in Selsdon. Thin crust cheese and tomato base with toppings of black olives, chicken and anchovies. Very good indeed, although the base was not airy and fluffy,more crispy than I would have liked, so 4/5. Will try again though ”

“ I have ordered from Capone's 3 times now, having never really noticed them before on the delivery apps. The ratings looked good and I have to say, I think the pizzas are lovely. I've tried the Fat man and the Godfather (twice). The 15" Godfather was particularly nice. I went with thin crust but the toppings were so generous it felt like eating a normal crust pizza. Will order again (when diet is over!) ”

“ This is a small pizza takeaway that's been here for 35yrs, and there's a reason for this. They make there own pizza bases and they're quality is consistently good. Yes you might pay a few quid more than the competition up the road, but it's worth it!!!! ”

“ No other place to go other than Capones. These guys have a good reputation locally. And it’s because the pizza is top notch and so is the service. Pizza always arrives fresh and hot. I’ve had the odd issue with pizza arriving with toppings etc all slid off. But a quick phone call and they replace it. Which goes to show how good they are. And that’s only because the pizzas are fully loaded with cheese and toppings unlike the main well known high street takeaways. Last time I had a dominos it was pretty much bread with tomato sauce. No cheese. Keep it up Capones. ”

“ Absolutely phenomenal pizza! Ordered as my friend is gluten intolerant - we weren’t disappointed. As you can see from my photos, there was no shortage of toppings! The website is way to navigate and it’s very clear how to make substitutions for any toppings if you have allergies, etc - my friend was very impressed. I would highly recommend and will certainly be ordering from Capones again! ”
